A new Safe Sleep One-Pager is now available for staff to download and share!

This resource highlights the importance of safe sleep practices, the impact of sleep-related infant deaths in Tennessee, and how Tennessee CCR&R supports safer sleep environments through professional development, evidence-based training, and relationship-based coaching.

During the 2024–2025 fiscal year, CCR&R delivered 59 safe sleep trainings, reaching 436 child care professionals statewide. The resource also highlights the use of safe sleep simulators and the expertise of our PITC-certified Infant & Toddler coaches.

Use this one-pager when connecting with legislators, community leaders, partners, and members of your community to demonstrate CCR&R's commitment to safe sleep education and helping Tennessee's youngest children get a safe start in life.

Did you know you can email registered training participants directly through the Learning Stream Instructor Portal?

Instructors can now easily share training updates, reminders, handouts, cancellations, and follow-up materials without creating separate email lists.

How It Works

1. Log in to the Learning Stream Instructor Portal using your assigned instructor account.
2. Locate your assigned training event on your dashboard.
3. Select the Email option from the event menu.
4. Choose whether to email all registrants or selected participants.
5. Add your subject line, compose your message, and include links to any materials you wish to share.
6. Review your message and recipients before sending.

Important Reminders

• Consider CC'ing yourself to receive a copy of the message.
• If you need to distribute files or attachments, you can also coordinate with your assigned Training and Registration Manager.
• Replies to emails sent through the Instructor Portal may not reach you directly. Always include your preferred contact information if participants need to respond.

This feature provides a convenient way to communicate important information before and after training, helping participants stay informed and prepared while streamlining instructor communication.

Three new PowerPoint templates are now available to help staff create clear, engaging, and consistent TN CCR&R presentations.

• Colorful: A vibrant, engaging design that adds energy while maintaining TN CCR&R branding standards. Perfect for presenters who want a bold, professional look.
• Savvy: A clean, modern design that reduces visual clutter and keeps the focus on clear, impactful content.
• Traditional: A classic, professional design created for clear and polished communication.

The templates have been approved by the Professional Development and Marketing teams. Please use the provided layouts and only edit the approved content areas. Fonts, colors, logos, backgrounds, and other branded design elements should not be altered.
