A Word From CCR&R Staff

The Safety in Action Summit is one of a kind. Children learn best when they feel safe. We have the privilege of creating a community of safety among each other which radiates to the children, families, and community! Join us as we change the world, one safe space at a time!

Shonna Trinidad

I am deeply passionate about the well-being and development of our children. As Coordinator for Health, Safety, & Supervision, I have dedicated my career to ensuring every child has a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment to grow and thrive. Our children are our future, and our collective responsibility is to protect and guide them. Today, we gather not just as professionals, but as advocates. Advocates for the youngest and most vulnerable members of our community. We are here to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and inspire one another to create the safest and most supportive environments possible.

Bettina Jones

We are so excited to bring the child care professionals of Tennessee a conference that focuses on such an important topic: safety. Each educator who participates in this event will walk away with new information on all aspects of safety in the classroom as well as a renewed sense of commitment to the children in their care.
