Working with infants and toddlers, you know that diaper changing is an important part of the day.
Here are a few reminders about diaper changing that will keep you and your children you care for, safe and healthy,
Diapers should be checked and/or changed every two hours. (Remember to wash your hands after checking or changing a diaper.)
The child's bottom should be wiped during every diaper change. Don't skip the wipe just because the diaper is urine only. (Prolonged contact of skin with urine, feces or both can cause diaper dermatitis.)
Remember to always wash the child's hands and your hands after diaper changing.
