Signal Centers, located in Chattanooga, provides management, fiscal, and administrative services for Tennessee's CCR&R Network. Signal Centers is a 501c (3) organization operated by a Board of Directors and whose mission is to provide community-based programs of education and support for children, adults, and families with physical, educational, and socioeconomic challenges to promote their independence and achievement of full potential. The organization is supported in part by the local United Way and has been providing community based services in Hamilton and ten surrounding counties for forty-five (45) years. Signal Centers, Inc. currently operates twenty-two (22) programs under the guidance of an Executive Director and a staff of 154. Those programs include educational and therapeutic services to children; assessments, education, skill training, job development, job coaching, and support for adults; technology evaluations, training, and support for individuals with disabilities; training, resources, and support to child care providers; and resources and information to families.
